Vaccinations
Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.
We run a flu vaccination clinic from mid September. Any patient over the age of 65 will be eligible for the flu vaccination. Also children between 2 and 5 years and any patient who suffers from conditions such as asthma, diabetes etc.

Asthma
Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.

COPD clinic
Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurse on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.
Appointment with Practice Nurse.
Minor Surgeries
We carry out intra-muscular (steroid) injections in the surgery, ask your GP for more information in relation to this.
Extended Hours
This practice sees patients outwith normal working hours in accordance with Health Board Regulations. This facility is available to patients who WORK and are unable to attend in normal surgery hours. This is by appointment only, further information is available by telephoning surgery.
Community Psychiatric Nurse Clinic
Counselling service is provided by the Community Psychiatric Nurses twice weekly in the surgery. The consulting GP will refer appropriate patients to these clinic after initial consultation.
Diabetic Clinic
Nurse Janet McLaren holds regular diabetic clinics in conjunction with the doctors for diabetic patients. These patients will be invited regularly to attend this clinic. Alternatively appointments can be made at reception.
